Rose O’Keefe

Rose O'Keefe is the author of seven history books including two about Frederick and Anna Douglass in Rochester, New York. Rose is a member of Toastmasters International, several writers and neighborhood groups. She and her husband have lived in the South Wedge for 48 years. They have two grown children, two grandchildren, and two cats.

Her last book was Rochester’s South Wedge, Revisited. Others are All Rights for All: Fighting for Justice; Special Delivery: From One Stop to Another on the Underground Railroad; Frederick and Anna Douglass in Rochester, New York; Historic Genesee Country; Southeast Rochester; and Rochester’s South Wedge.
