Yuko Jones is the illustrator of Niki Nakayama: A Chef’s Tale in 13 Bites, a Junior Library Guild Selection and CBC Notable Book featured on multiple Best Book of the Year lists. Her latest picture book, Perfect, received starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews and Booklist, and her next book, Applesauce on Top, will be published in 2026. Yuko was born in Japan and now lives in Rochester, NY, with her family.
